When I came to Istanbul from Trabzon in the 1950s, I was filled with excitement and desire to succeed. Over the years, I have always cared about preserving this amateur spirit.

I think the secret to success in business life is to combine professionalism with amateur spirit.

I am proud on behalf of my country and my family that Kayalar, which I founded in 1957, has become a group of companies operating in many areas and is a preferred brand worldwide, and I share this pride with you, my valuable stakeholders.

As of 2014, our group companies have been institutionalized and each one is managed autonomously and competitively by our family members under the Kayalar brand and guarantee. Therefore, our company has been safely entrusted to the second generation from the first founding generation. We continue to concentrate on the necessary infrastructure works for the continuation of our success and delivery at an even higher level with the upcoming third generation.

The Industrial Kitchen Sector gained momentum in Turkey in the 1980s with tourism, and our sector, which was initially focused on import, now produces all kinds of products at world standards and exports them to 5 continents.

The point reached today is a product of the ability to correctly read the future, because the Industrial Kitchen Sector, which has gained real importance with tourism investments, is progressing in parallel with new investment trends.

Nuray Kaya Uzunal, a 2nd generation member of the Kayalar Family, has been the Vice Chairman of the Kayalar Group Board of Directors since 1998 after graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Literature.

She is a Board Member of the Kutlu Bilgi Foundation, a family foundation.

Fikret Kaya

Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors

A second generation member of the Kayalar Family, Fikret Kaya graduated from Istanbul Commerce University.

Having been the Vice Chairman of the Kayalar Group Board of Directors since 1980, Fikret Kaya is also a Professional Committee Member and Assembly Member at the Istanbul Chamber of Industry Metal Home and Workplace Equipment Industry Group.

He is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Kutlu Bilgi Foundation, a family foundation.

An industrial kitchen is the general term for professional kitchen systems and equipment used in commercially operated facilities—primarily hotels, cafés, bars, factories, social facilities, catering companies, hospitals, construction sites, and restaurants.
